PRICES of gold recorded all-time high in Bangladesh on Wednesday followingwhat local jewelers said the sharp price spiral of the precious metal inthe international market. Gold price in the local market continues soaringwith guinea 21 carat gold selling at Taka 13,200 and 22 carat gold at Taka13,830 a 'Bhori' - equivalent to 11.66 grams. A week ago, 21 carat gold wasselling at Taka 12,600 and 22 carat gold at Taka 13,200 per Bhori. Only twomonths ago, price of guinea 21 carat gold was Taka 11,800 while 22 caratgold was sold at Taka 12,360. Gold prices in the domestic market shot upby around Taka 7,000 a Bhori in the last five years.
