Many
graduate vacancies are open to graduates with degrees in any subject. However,
finding out what other graduates in your subject are doing can be a good way of
getting ideas. You'll find plenty of resources online to help you do it.

is a very good site that provide what options one has with a specific subject:

International job sites with job listing of many countries
Some job sites has country specific version or provide multi
country job listing. For example, monster.com
For country specific job site, look into Alexa ranking of
websites for a country. Usually the highly visited job site of that country
comes up among the top ranked websites of the country. Generally highly visited
site means it means provide good value or quality is high.
For example, rozee.pk comes up as no 51 in the Alexa ranking
of websites for Pakistan.Further, rozee has sister sites for middle eastern
coutries.

information: look into govt jobs circular as they mention salaries. Also
international org like IUT, UN provides salary information in their ad.
Besiders, there are some websites like glassdoor that provide salary
information anonymously. Search in Google with keywords like salary
survey,salary in unilver etc.
Networking or referral for job
finding:
nearly 80 percent of the vacancies are filled up by
referrals. So it is very important to find referral or do networking. And in
networking weak tie has better chance to land you job. Because your strong tie
has almost similar network like you or if they find definitely they would let
you know about the job.

For USA, you may look into labour market survey by US Govt.
For other countries, look into different job and career
sites like gradlink, prospects.ac.uk, targetjobs etc to obtain such job market
scenario and current trends information. You may look into career segments of prominent universities of a country to get
such information though usually such information are not available there.
Higher study
First hand information: collect first information from your
friends, relatives, alumni who studied abroad for a specific institution or
country.
Look for iutians studying abroad. There is a yahoo group of
IUTIANS. Become a member and search relevant posting or ask for information:
Almost all major universities where Bangladeshi students go,
you will find Bangladeshi students association. The office bearers of such
association would be very helpful. You may look into club and society page of
the university to find such association or just search in Google. Besides,
there are Islamic societies in most major universities. You may contact with
them too.
GRE Center Bangladesh runs a very good website that contains
information about GRE ,TOEFL ,IELTS preparation, contacting with professors,
scholarships and all major aspects of higher study venture. It is a must read.
By the by, the site is in Bangla, so those who cant read Bangla may use google
translator.
Blog has now a days loads of personal experience regarding
studying abroad. You may check in somewhereinblog. Ragib Hasan, now a faculty
member in USA, has some very good write-ups on higher study USA, writing
statement of purpose etc. You may find his write-ups in somewhereinblog.
Further, he has published a few books on how to research, self development,
mathemetics. You may collect those books through rokomari.com where payment

Collect information from Alumni.
