gradual process towards humility: Lower level bhai
Gradual process is the best for personal development. To reach goal of reaching humility in terms of salutation as most of the English spoken countries like Ireland and UK do, one may follow gradual process in Bangladesh.
He may think himself as the lower level job holder. So he would call all lower level jobholders as bhai, the other job a little bit higher status job holder as shaheb and superiors as boss or sir or other honorific.
It should be ok as senior faculty, junior faculty all alike are called sir by students in Bangladesh so to call a group of jobholder under same salutation as the intermediate step towards egalitarian salutation.

humbleness, humility, greetings dilemma : some tips
If you find difficult to say greetings first to others special, especially to those of lower social standings and not so jovial, you may keep your eyes down and verbally say greetings. In this way you will not get offended and the other person options to reply or not. Later if he replies back, you may look up.
If you feel pride and expect honorable mention, what you could do is to filter out the honorable mention as you someone says to you. In this way, you would reduce the hankering for such honorable mention.
Again use passive to others to whom it may be still socially lower status pronoun is used. And start everyone with M, Mr,Miss,Dr,Engr and end with shaheb, bhai, sir silently.

Humility , humbleness, say no to Pride : Islamic perspective
The comprehensive answer, often overlooked in this discussion, is simpler than we think, but easier said then done.
The answer, the key to humility – is an acknowledgment, a true, deep acknowledgment, that any accomplishment that you have ever made in your entire life of any kind, is NOTHING more than a grace and mercy of Allah (swt) that you really have not done much to deserve.
Everything you have done, you could only do because He let you.
Everything you have gained, you only gained because He gave you.
When a beggar receives 10 dollars from a rich man, he does
not go to the rich man and pretend that he has earned this money. Nor does he
go into the streets haughtily and pretend that he himself is rich. His clothes,
his hair, his countenance, testifies to his true state.
Pride means to reject the truth and to look down on others
"Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself
less."Years later I find myself teaching my children yes you are the best but that is because God blessed you, now go out and leave your mark. Think less of yourself and more of others.
We shouldn’t try and elevate ourselves, but rather try to
elevate others; and serve others.
The Prophet teaches:
“Shall I not tell you of something
that will take away the evil of the heart? Fasting three days of each month.”
Imam ‘Ali al-Rida (a.s.) said: “Anyone
who greets a poor Muslim in a manner different from his greeting a rich one,
Allah will be wroth with him on the Day of Judgement.”
@ a nice write up like a book sections with how daily
interactions to be made as a Muslim
